COFICA: credit solutions for automobiles, trucks, and agricultural tractors
COFICA is a financing institution for individuals and small businesses, established in 1945 to address the financial and legal needs arising from the re-equipping of businesses and individuals with production resources following the end of hostilities. The institution then specialises in automotive credit, including trucks and agricultural tractors.

In 1970 it joined the Compagnie Bancaire, parent company created by Jacques de Fouchier to consolidate its consumer credit activities (Cetelem), life insurance (Cardif), direct banking (Cortal) and corporate automobile and farm equipment fleet management (Arval Service Lease).
For 31 years COFICA’s business was linked with Cetelem (consumer credit), which completely absorbed the company in 2001.
