Stronger links with the Historia – BNP Paribas readers’ Prize For BNP Paribas, the History Awards season opened on 13 November with the 2023 edition of the Historia Awards, which, once again this year, showcased exciting and original historical accounts… Novels, detective stories, biographies, documentaries, immersive experiences… And this 13th edition was marked in particular by the launch of the new Historia – BNP Paribas Readers’ Award, whose jury is made up of subscribers to the Historia magazine and BNP Paribas employees. French ambassador Gérard Araud won over the readers of France’s longest-running history magazine and the bank’s employees with his book Nous étions seuls, published by Tallandier. The 6th edition of which brought together the community of history teachers on the You Tube video platform and their subscribers at the UGC Cyrano in Versailles on 24 November. It was an opportunity to get to know the 6 finalist youtubers better and to discover their trade secrets at a round table discussion moderated by Eric Pincas, editor-in-chief of Historia. The famous professional cyclist Guillaume MARTIN, who has a degree in philosophy, was awarded the prize for his book La Société du peloton. Philosophie de l’individu dans le groupe..
