BNP, on your street corner and around the world (Tokyo)
The BNP inherited the international focus of its two forerunners, the Comptoir National d’Escompte de Paris (CNEP) and the Banque Nationale pour le Commerce et l’Industrie (BNCI), which makes it the most international French bank.
This poster, illustrated with a photo of Fuji Mountain, recalls the bank’s roots in Japan. BNP has had a presence since 1968, when it opened its sales office in Tokyo, which it transformed into an branch in 1973. This advertising campaign promotes its national and international influence.
