This brochure promotes the international influence of the Banque Nationale pour le Commerce et l’Industrie (BNCI). It also promotes its metropolitan network and the diversity of its services.

Indeed, starting in the 1940s, the bank implemented a proactive policy to establish a presence abroad. As such, it opened agencies in Asia (Saigon in 1947, Hong Kong in 1958), South America in 1949 (Mexico, Uruguay, Colombia, Panama), Africa (Dakar in 1939, Saint-Louis du Sénégal in 1940, Brazzaville in 1952) and the West Indies in 1941. In 20 years the BNCI became the leading French bank abroad.
